Winter Getaway

We spent a relaxing weekend at a cabin in celebration of Mom's birthday.Getting those Grandmas to look at the camera is nearly impossible!The weapons from the dollar aisle at Target were a hit. You never know when you might have to protect yourself from Uncle Brian or a squirrel.We played a little hide and seek. Everett's favorite spot was under the bed.

Anders tried ice fishing for the first time.It was fun to finally see some snow.

Favorite Thing

I love to come across an activity that will keep Anders entertained in his high chair so I can get some things done. I don't normally let him play with his pacifier, that is only for sleeping, but I have to admit it is a nice way to keep everything else out of his mouth.

Milestone

The first time both Anders and I enjoyed a meal in a restaurant was an important milestone. Until now Anders turned into a monster the minute we set foot in a restaurant. Turns out he loves food more than he dislikes restaurants.

I Know, I Know

As a mom I'm not supposed to like annoying toys but this CAT loader is Anders' favorite right now. It shakes, moves and plays obnoxious music but his excitement when he sees it is so worth the annoyance.

Comb Over

Anders was born with lots of blonde hair but a couple months later it all fell out. Well, almost all, he has about 5 strands that are really long now and they stick straight up when he jumps in his door jumper.

Pajama Jeans
My weekend to work is long and exhausting so on Monday Anders and I stay in our jammies all day long. What makes this even better is I got pajama jeans for Christmas so now we can even run errands in our jammies. I know you are all thinking "Rachel is way to stylish for pajama jeans :)" Honestly, they are the best thing ever and I wear them even when it is not pajama day!

Separation anxiety has kicked in this month so I get a lot of this while trying to do things around the house.

What's So Funny

One night I was doing dishes while Brian was putting Anders to bed. I heard them laughing hysterically so I decided to go spy. When I got there the moment had nearly passed but I think you will get the idea.

Uncle Al

We love to visit Great Grandma Angie on Sundays but it is becoming more difficult because there is no place to take a nap. This particular Sunday Uncle Al walked the halls with Anders while he slept. It was awesome!

Family Gathering

We have had hundreds of family gatherings like the one at Sarah and Steve's last month where we have taken hundreds of pictures like this.But at this particular family event we had to say goodbye to Emily and family who are moving to North Carolina. I'm excited for their adventure but we will miss them terribly.
