Brian and Anders went on their first Father/Son camping trip. In case you can't tell he was excited!!

It was real camping with an outhouse so Amelia and I decided to sleep at home. Meanwhile, the boys worked hard, played hard and got nice and muddy.

Five Months

Amelia has a little more control over her body, head and hands this month so she has started playing with toys. Love this stage! 

She also managed to keep a mop of hair on top while losing it all around the sides. Thank goodness Brian lets us get away with baby bows from time to time.

Spirit Week

Teacher appreciation week was also spirit week at day care. Anders and Amelia were there for superhero day and

crazy hair day.

Anders won the crazy hair competition!

Mother's Day

Cuties at the Park

It got hot for about one day. So we went to the park.

My Runners

Anders and Brian at our elementary school's color run. Brian ditched the stroller 2 blocks in and Anders "ran" the whole way.

Chives

If I ever put something that looked or tasted like a chive on Anders plate that would be the end of that meal.

But he got to try chives fresh from the garden at farm school.

He smelled them

And tasted them.

And liked them.

Bow Bro

Anders despises having his picture taken unless his sister is getting more attention.

Then he will find any way possible to get in the shot.

Spring!

 

This spring we welcomed Cousin Orion to the family. Amelia is not the baby any more.

We celebrated Great Grandma Angie's 97th Birthday. Girl cousins wore their matching dresses.

Amelia went on her first trip to the park.

 

It's getting nicer but the weather is still a little unpredictable so we get to pull out some of our favorite winter stuff from time to time.
