New Park

Another activity on our fall to do list was to check out a new park.  We visited Teddy Bear Park in Stillwater because it came highly recommended.  It did not disappoint.  It is made for toddlers so at 17 months Anders could do almost everything by himself.

The only downfall is I thought I would get a little shopping in at the cute Stillwater shops but the park was so fun this is as close as I got.

Love this park!  It will be top of our spring to do list!

Story Time

I have been avoiding story times with Anders, even though he has finally started liking books, because he still doesn't like to sit still. But Grandma Jane checked out story time at the Red Balloon book store and thought even Anders could sit through this one. She was right! This woman is amazing.

Lazy Saturday

One of my favorite things about fall is our weekends aren't quite as busy and we have a little more time to hang out as a family.  One of my least favorite things about fall is those weekends can be cold and rainy.  So once we finally got our lazy butts out of bed we blew up the bouncy castle, added some balls and hunkered down for a family day inside.

Yep, using the phone for a few more minutes of sleep.

Fall Beach Day

It took a lot of convincing, but once Anders decided the water was too cold to swim in, we had lots of fun at the beach.

This was super fun especially for the under three crowd because they are free but there is lots of stuff for them to do.

One chilly Saturday morning we went to "watch" Zach play soccer and Aaron play football.  I always admire those babies sitting in their strollers at sporting events.  That is not our baby, so Brian and I take turns watching the game and chasing Anders. Luckily there is usually a playground near by.

Fall Bucket List

On our to do list this fall was a trip to the downtown farmer's market and lunch at the food trucks. We love that Grandma Jane is retired now and can join us during the week. And Auntie B and Autumn are still on maternity leave so they came too.

Family Vacation

Every year Brian and I head north to celebrate our anniversary. Since neither of us want to spend time away from Anders the last couple years it has become our family vacation. This year we went back to Grand Marais with a side trip to Cascade River State Park.

We like to stop at Gooseberry Falls to break up the drive home.  This year, because of the drought it was tough to find water to splash in.
