Halloween

Pumpkin carving.

This year Anders dressed up as Captain Jack Sparrow and Amelia was Peppa Pig. Amelia and I went to a couple neighbor's then came home to hand out candy. Anders and Brian met up with his friend Colin and went a bit further.

Baker Boo

Our last camping trip of the season.

We live in a newer housing development  so we don't get piles of leaves to jump in. Fun to enjoy them at the park and not have to bag them up!

The Seversons weren't able to camp this year but did come for a day.

Maren and kids came out for trick or treating.

Peppa was more interested in jumping in muddy puddles :)

And once she got a sucker, she was done.

Captain Jack Sparrow made it through most of the loops.

We had one rainy indoor meal but for the most part this was the best weather we have ever had at Baker Boo.

Fall

Time for pumpkin patches (we like Lendts,)

corn pits,

apple orchards (Pine Tree, of course,)

hay rides

and Norwegian suppers (Anders was thrilled to pass on his scratchy sweater.)

Learning to butter lefse.

Big Girl

It is fun to have some one on one time with my Meli bug now that Anders is back in school.

She loves slides. Anders never did.

She's my shopping buddy. Okay, we don't get much accomplished but we have fun.

We were lucky to have a hot fall. She likes splash pads. Anders, not so much.

She loooooooves the library and will sit and read books for hours.

 

She loves babies.

She loves picking her Bro Bro up from school.

They beg every day to walk through the school forest.

She likes sticks, just like Anders.

They both like water.

I'm pretty sure you are not supposed to let your kid do this anymore but it was so stinking cute.

She loves her Bro. And is just as good as he is at the bedtime stall.
