Sensory Bin Fail

In December I traded the corn out for a Christmas sensory bin. It was a masterpiece full of bows, tinsel, jingle bells, candy canes, cookie cutters and other Christmas treasures.  The response was tears, frequent questions about where the corn went and a rarely played with red and green bin. So in January the corn made a come back.

"Where my hat go?"

"Oh, there it is." I think we've got a ways to go on potty training.

Happy New Year

On New Years Eve we had our annual cousin sleepover. It was a small turn out due to a flu bug making its way through the family.  We celebrated with fondue and a necessary glow stick bubble bath.

Russia

I'm so sad about the Russian ban on U.S. adoptions. I pray that an agreement can be reached for the sake of the 120,000 orphans in Russia with no voice and now, no future. The Russian orphans and the families who adopt them will always hold a special place in my heart.
