The Farm

We took advantage of a warm fall weekend at the farm by going exploring. Walking with these two is an adventure because they both have minds of their own.

We did eventually make it to our destination, Papa Bernie's tractor.

Backyardigans

We took Grandma Jane to her first Toddler Tuesday to meet the Backyardigans. Again Anders had no idea who they were but thought they was awesome anyway.

Every time I go to places with young children I'm amazed by the ones who will sit quietly in a stroller or stand in line. Not my kid. Anders and Elise had their own dance party in front of everyone waiting in line. I'll be sad when he's too embarrassed to do this.

First Snow and Stuff

We were out playing in the snow at 0730 after our first snow fall because we knew it wouldn't last long.

Poor Abby. Such a good sport. I'm sure she remembers the good old days when she was our spoiled only child.

We don't get a lot of leaves in our yard. Glad I don't have to rake but tough to get a good fall leaf picture.

Halloween

Anders really got into Halloween this year. It was so fun!

Anders and I crashed the Halloween party at school. My first experience as a volunteer mom in the classroom.

The big event! We planned to trick or treat with neighbors but quickly found they were to fast for us.

Anders did a great job trick or treating even when a huge Chewbaca answered the door.

I think he had just as much fun handing out candy.

Normally we would trick or treat with the cousins but Brian's job moved further away and he can't make it to the South Metro in time to trick or treat. So it was fun to see the cousins in costume at Christiania's Halloween party.

The Halloween party was a little on the spooky side. This is the closest Anders would get to Mallory but he talked about her for weeks.

Toddler Tuesday

I had so much fun with Maren while she was on maternity leave, I think I was just as sad as she was when she went back to work!

Anders first character meet and greet was Strawberry Shortcake at MOA. It was fun to see how excited he was when she arrived even though he had no idea who she was. He was just a little disappointed she wasn't cake.

It was our first Toddler Tuesday. Not only did we get to meet Strawberry Shortcake but there were free kids meals and discounts on rides!

Vegas

We celebrated Brian's birthday in Las Vegas this year. Our first vacation without Anders.

Liten Norsk Gut

Great Grandpa Tip and Great Grandma Jackie brought this sweater from Norway for Brian when he was little.

It was perfect for the annual Norwegian supper at Christiania.

It was a cold, but fun MEA camping weekend. Anders never complained once! He was happy as long as there was a stick in his hand and fire to poke.

Very thankful for a heated camper!

After two loops of trick or treating the kid picks a sucker. In his mind it was probably less work than going potty on the potty chair.

Baker campground does a Halloween themed camping weekend over MEA every year. It is a blast!
