94...94....90,90,90,90....94

(Happy Birthday high five.)

Grandma Angie turned 94 a couple days after Anders turned 2 so we got to see all the cousins again at her birthday party. We basically took over the main floor of Millstream Commons for an Anderson family pot luck.

These puppies were really fun when they weren't causing problems.

Truck Party

We celebrated Anders' second birthday with a truck party. Check out the awesome cake Uncle Ken made! Anders had lots of fun playing with his cousins.  Two year old parties are easy, just pull out all the toys and let the kids go nuts.  Anders, you are one lucky spoiled loved little boy!

Birthday Make-up

We were able to make it to the zoo to celebrate with Grandma Jane and Grandma Dorla the next day. I was so happy to have them there because Anders ran the whole day!

It's baby farm animal time at the zoo so we braved the cold and snow to feed some goats, ride on a tractor and oooh and awwww over some tiny pigs.  Anders was mostly impressed with the mud. Somehow it didn't show up in the pictures but he was covered by the time we were done.

I'm perfectly content to hide behind the camera but because I only have a handful of pictures of my dad I occasionally try and put myself in a picture. It often goes something like this :)

Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Birthday

Anders, we had big plans to spend your second birthday with your Grandmas at the zoo. Instead we got a spring snow storm. We improvised and spent the day doing many of your favorite things.

We woke you up early to open gifts before Daddy went to work.

We read a couple books in bed.

Even though we were stuck at home for the day it seemed appropriate to dress up for the occasion.  I had to chase you to get this picture.

You got to watch TV with a nukie. MAJOR TREAT!!

Dairy Queen for lunch.

We played with some of your new toys.

Made cupcakes.

Took a bath in the big tub.

And got some face time birthday wishes. In all it was a perfect snowy birthday.

Warm and Cozy Fun

I love a good book store! I know we are losing them quickly to Amazon so we try to be supportive from time to time. The Wild Rumpus is our favorite and a great way to spend a cold and rainy spring day.

This trip we bought the book Three Little Kittens so we also did a project where we soiled our mittens, washed them and hung them out to dry.
