First Haircut

I put off getting Anders' hair cut for as long as possible because I knew these adorable curls would be gone. I finally caved when it got a little too mulletty and the summer got too hot.  He wasn't too sure at first but he did great.

He still looks cute sans curls.

The Wedding

I had a great time at the wedding but since I was in the wedding and otherwise chasing Anders I don't have many pictures from that day. I'm crossing my fingers the photographer comes through! Here's a couple I did get.

Rehearsal Dinner

In case you can't tell from the pictures this was a HOT week. Miraculously during the rehearsal dinner a rain shower came through and broke the heat. It made for some pretty great splashing too. Thanks to everyone who helped with Anders!

Beach Day

Maren and I chose to relive our childhood summers vicariously through our children with a trip East Shore Beach followed by root beer floats at 3 Seasons.

Campus Tour

Anders and I went to visit Heidi, Angie and Abby some of my nursing school friends in St. Peter. Heidi is a nursing professor at Gustavus so we took a little tour of the Nursing Department.  While fourteen years post tornado the Nursing Department is still housed in a temporary building they have done a great job keeping up with technology. They even have a SimMan.
We ended the visit with dinner at The Caf, which, fourteen years post tornado, is a much better dining experience.

When Wild Andersmals Attack

We managed to sneak in a quick camping trip at Bunker Beach where we took advantage of the disc golf course and water park.
Anders' first two word combo was "outside go" so he was quite content to just be outside for two days straight.

Around 14 months Anders finally became a full on walker.

My Mom

Grandma Jane retired after almost 40 years as a Director of Special Education and special education teacher . We attended her goodbye luncheon where we heard people tell stories of the amazing person we already know she is. She has taught me a lot about working hard, loving your job and leaving your work at work. Congratulations Mom!!
