Our summer is shaping up to be a whirlwind of visiting friends and family we don't get to see often enough. We kicked it off with a trip to Iowa to see Megan and Jon play ball.

Good Neighbor Days
Anders got to ride some rides with his favorite neighbor, Hailey. I can't tell you how many times a day we have to check to see if she is playing outside.

Splash
For Valentine's Day Grandma Jane got Anders a summer class at the zoo. I don't know what happened in the class, that is between Grandma and Grandson, but I did get to meet up for lunch and a little fun at the zoo after class.

Busy Saturday!
Remember when that scene in Old School was really funny? I'm there. One Saturday after dunking donuts we found ourselves at Home Depot. It happened to be the first Saturday of the month so Anders and Daddy used real tools to build a lawn mower.
Some kids cradle baby dolls. My kid cradles a drill.
We had lunch outside at Admiral D's.
There was even time to plant our first ever garden.

Memorial Day
We had a fun weekend in Iowa despite the cold (seems to be a theme this spring/summer) wet weather. We got the kids on the Antique Carousel, got tractor rides with Cory (whom the kids now talk about like he is family,) got to be with Megan as she confirmed her faith, made it to Fort Snelling to visit Great-Grandpa Tip and Great-Grandma Jackie's graves and even got in a trip to Dave and Busters with the big cousins.

Spring School Pics
Not sure what's going on with the comb over but these are still my favorite thing he brings home from day care.

Krista's Party
Anders' and Elise's Godmother, Krista, graduated from high school. We are so excited to have her in the cities this fall!
But seriously, where did the time go?

Helper
This spring I agreed to help with a garage sale. I instantly regretted it since I would have Anders with me and he is a full time job.
I can't believe how well he did! It helped that it was a neighborhood sale so there were donuts.
and construction vehicles.
Old toys galore.
This kid can always kill time with a hammer. He even went to the end of the driveway to show his hammer to the builders across the street.
A big pile of dirt, need I say more.
In the end he did great and we even made a little money.
To quote Anders there was "Money, money everywhere!"
So proud of you, Buddy!
