Anders

This kid has matured so much since Amelia was born. It makes me a little sad.
He brings his own money to skating for a game of bubble hockey and a cup of hot chocolate.
He will help clean.
He is becoming a better independent player (however, this is a game of loft darts with Dad.)
He likes to cook. He told me what to buy and made his own chili.
He has opinions about what he wears.
Still loves basketball best
but hockey is fun too.
Wants to be a goalie :(
Collects random treasures.
And is acknowledging his baby sister more and more every day.

Back to Work

I went back to work and everyone survived!
I chose to go back on a Saturday so kids were home with Dad.
They even baked a pie.
Amelia started day care.
They spent the day with Grandma and Grandpa.

They went to the zoo

Had breakfast out.

baked cupcakes

and took cute pictures to send to me. How did people go back to work before smart phones!?

They even went ice skating.
I had a good week at work too. I loved getting the pictures and was happy the kids were well taken care of. It really does take a village.

Three Months

Month three came way too quickly! I'm not ready to go back to work!
Amelia would really like to be a thumb sucker. We are trying hard to replace the thumb with a Nuk but every time I turn around she seems to find her thumb again.

She is becoming more alert.
She seemed to like her first open gym
and basketball tournaments.
She is growing out of her 3 month clothes and into her 6 months.

And getting slightly more attention from her brother. Again with the Team Ortho buffs.

Even Amelia thinks Greta is creepy :)

2.27.2016

We reached a record high of 61 degrees in February. So we spent the day at Tamarack Nature Center.
Anders found Brian's Team Ortho running buffs :)

Where's Amelia

We have done lots of fun stuff on my maternity leave but I feel like Amelia is left out of the pictures. Poor second kid.
We went to cheer on our favorite basketball players. If I let Anders pick out his clothes he would wear this jersey every day. Unfortunately it is getting small.
Zoo day with Grandma and Grandpa. Anders talked them into buying him a giant shark

Grandma Dorla climbing through tunnels and touching sharks.
It was a rare 40 degree February day so the animals on the Minnesota trail were very active.

And Amelia is always there too. In the background happily talking to her best friends.
