Stages

For Christmas this year Grandma Jane gave us tickets to several shows at Stages Theater in Hopkins. Stages is a little more preschool friendly and affordable than The Children's Theater. I didn't know how it would go because he can't sit through a movie yet. He LOVED it! First we saw The Mitten and even got to meet the bear afterwards.

So when we went to see Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No good, Very Bad Day Anders was super excited to meet Alexander. But when the moment came he got really shy.

We got front row seats to The True Story of the Three Little Pigs. This one was a little over their heads but we still had fun.

We finished out this season at The Wiz.

Vacation Days

There are never seems to be enough summer vacation days to get to all the beaches and parks we want to, but we try hard!

Rainy Day Fun

One rainy day we left home with no plans and didn't come home until bedtime!

We had a rainy outdoor breakfast.

Drove some trucks.

And were even invited to celebrate Auntie Maren's Birthday since we will have to miss her claw machine celebration.

It is fun to cheer on the horses at Canterbury but Anders enjoys the tractors smoothing the track just as much.

Twins

I often get asked if these two are twins.

They definitely fight act like siblings.

The Car

This year we rented an SUV so we could travel to Michigan together. There are differing opinions on how it went. I thought it was crazy, chaotic and fun. I can't wait to do it again.

Detroit Zoo

After a couple days of work and a pretty awesome party we headed to the Detroit Zoo for more fun.
