Seven Months

Oops, missed the seven month mark. We have a mover! And a sitter. While she doesn't do either well it is a big change for her brother.
The second one seems to get older a lot faster!

Fourth of July Fun

We had a great time once we made it to Michigan.
Check out those chubby baby thighs <3!  I love them so much!!
The Forhans were great hosts as usual!!
There were boat rides, kayak rides, tubing and so much wii.

Paul was the only Forhan "kid" around for most of the week so he got lots of attention. He was a good sport!
Grandma Jane had the kids well dressed in festive outfits.

At first Amelia did not share my love of boats but once it started moving she was all "ahhhhh."

Lots of good cousin fun in the lake. These guys are getting so independent!

Fireworks, of course.
Getting silly on the long car ride home.

Nut Party

Terry won a Planter's Peanut party. So we left mid camping trip to attend.
The Planter's Peanut showed up in his nutmobile.
And gave everyone rides.

Camping With a Baby

Yet another camping weekend at Bunker Beach. When we booked so many trips this summer I was a little nervous about how it would go with Amelia. Turns out she is a great camper!

Next summer will be a different story.

Summer Stuff

Minnesota summer :)

Post picket trip to MOA with cousins.

Post picket dance at Midtown Global Market with Grandma Jane.

Anders is on the Incredible Hulks T ball team this year.
I messed up and signed him up for the wrong one and by the time I noticed the early session was full so we are doing the late one. It gets a little rough for Amelia.

Strike

We are in the middle of a heated contract negotiations that resulted in a week long strike, so far. I could go on and on about details but since this is my family photo album details won't be important looking back.
I was five when my dad went on strike. Just like Anders. I still remember it. I hope some day when he is CEO of a company and on some hospital board deciding the fate of 5,000 nurses he remembers walking the line with his mom. Because apparently hospital boards are made up of CEOs and no one in medicine. Makes sense, right?
We are a few little nurses fighting a corporate giant so there is little chance things will go our way but I did get a beautiful week off in June where I got to eat dinner with my family EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT!! And tuck these kiddos into bed and go to Tball and so much else I have to miss out on when I'm working.
Being in a 24/7 job we also never get to have parties that everyone can attend. Even during our holiday party some people are working. So it was fun to take advantage of some extra bonding time with coworkers outside of work.

Thanks to those who showed their support!
