Lydia

Cousin Lydia came to visit for a few days this summer. I only got to spend a day with her but it was so fun to have her around. We went to Minnehaha Falls and the splash pad. Then to Chanhassen for Beauty and the Beast.

 

 

Wolverine

I'd take spending a day with Wolverine over double pay any day!

Anders is really in to Super Heroes right now. He wears his costumes everywhere.

Kamp Dels

Had fun on our annual Kamp Dels camping trip.

Lots of fun cousin bonding time with both sides of the family.

Amelia's first camping trip turned out to be 90 degrees so she spent most of the time staying with Grandma Dorla.

Our sites surrounded a playground and there was a huge waterpark but the boys were fine playing in the dirt.

Amelia had plenty of babysitters.

Rough Month

Not only did I turn 40 but Anders and I also had our last day of farm school. I can't say enough good things about this program. I learned so much about how to parent a preschooler and loved getting to observe Anders in that setting.

 

Anders also graduated from preschool. Brian reminded me that by law they have to let him into Kindergarten. BUT STILL, my little man is growing up way too fast!

Lordy Lordy!

I turned 40! I celebrated with family in Iowa. A bloody mary bar, brunch with the girls, followed by mani/pedis, and dinner out with the whole fam. Have to say turning 40 was fun.

 

 

Bucket List

Anders has been begging to have a lemonade stand since he could talk. This year at our neighborhood garage sale his dream came true.

Mondays with Grandma

Spent an afternoon at The Arboretum with Grandma Jane. Such a fun place for kids! Grandma Jane didn't get to see many flowers though.

Six Months

Amelia just turned 6 months. I loved this stage with Anders because he was constantly learning something new.

She rolls everywhere now and we are working on sitting up. She is not even close :)

She is getting good at grabbing toys so she can entertain herself more.

Sleeps on her tummy, just like her bro :(

Started eating solids.

Loves her feet.

And even got a couple teeth.
