Kindergarten

Anders started Kindergarten. He wasn't a bit nervous but I was nervous enough for the both of us!

Drop off went great and I left him smiling and chatting with his classmates.

Thank goodness this didn't happen!

At the end of the day I picked up a happy, chatty Kindergartner.

Summer Wrap Up

We snuck in one last trip to the splash pad before these two start school. START! SCHOOL! I'm having a tough time coming to terms with this.

Lucky for me Anders got a couple extra days of summer during which we got to meet his teacher, spend some time just the two of us and a last minute ice cream date with Grandma Jane and Papa Bernie. 

State Fair

We snuck in a few hours at the Minnesota State Fair.

 Anders' requests - mini donuts and the giant slide.

Amelia tried mini donuts too.

Anders may have been just hitching a ride on Amelia's stroller but this girl has to take what she can get!

The find of the day, a ropes course set up by The Boy Scouts. Anders did it a dozen times. Now he can't wait to join. I'm often impressed by how brave this kid is! We were even able to talk him out of the Kidway for this!

Last weekend of Summer

We spent Labor Day weekend camping at Two Rivers Campground.

If you get the chance to stop at Treasure City, don't. It was terrible!

But Two Rivers Campground is one of our favorites.
