Twins Game

Brian and Melody came up for baptism and treated us to a Twins game. We traded Anders for Aaron and Zach.

First Play Date

The Anderson family exploded this year and we finally got together for a play date at the Minnesota Zoo. With six babies we didn't see much of the zoo but we had fun.

2011 + Birthdays = Breakfast

This year we are checking out the Twin Cities best breakfast joints for birthdays. Lisa kicked it off at Lyndale Tap House. Yummy bloodies! Definitely a 20s and 30s crowd. Mom thought she was the oldest and Anders the youngest in the whole place so we took their picture with Katy Perry.



Next we tried Salut for my birthday. Yummy Crepes. Getting both Grandmas to look for a picture was too much for Anders.For Jeff's birthday we went to the Uptown Cafeteria. Yummy atmosphere. Except the hall of cafeteria trays gave me anxiety like I have to take a test and I never went to the class or they are serving hamburger gravy over mashed potatoes for lunch and ran out of pineapple tidbits. They also have an impressive bloody mary bar.



Bernie chose to celebrate his birthday at Keys Cafe. Yummy comfort food! This place reminds me of Sunday mornings after church as a kid. If they only served their homemade jam and toast I would still go back. Poor Everett. Some day he will think Grandpa Bernie is awesome but right now it is kind of funny.

Newborn Pics

I realize I just did a 2 month update so this post is a little late but at least I got it done before his 3 month pictures. Brian's cousin Ali is a photographer and came to take Anders newborn photos and even brought us dinner! He wasn't a normal sleepy newborn, he was wide awake the whole time. But I still love the way they turned out. I can't believe how much he has changed already!

2 Month Update

Anders is already 2 months old. Besides his head he is not on the growth chart yet but getting closer. He weighed 9 lbs 12 ounces was 20 1/4 inches long. He has gained 4 lbs 6 ounces and grown more than 2 inches!

Abby was more than a little ticked at me when we brought Anders home. Not Brian, just me. The dog who is never more than a couple feet away from me wouldn't even be in the same room. Luckily she took it out on me and not Anders.
