Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve we are up and out the door early, still in our jammies to celebrate with Brian's side of the family.

Christmas Eve Eve
We kicked off the Christmas celebrations on December 23rd with my family. We have celebrated Christmas that day since I was a kid so it feels like a holiday to me. We attempted to get a picture in front of the tree. This is the best we got.

We spread the gifts over the whole day. It is fun for the kids to open the gifts with the people who gave them.

First Second Sunday
My family used to get together for First Thursday but for various reasons it became more and more difficult for people to make that work so instead we are giving Second Sunday a try.
